Catacomb Subculture is a blog about society, people, philosophy, art, and the beautifully terrifying idea that God would come to Earth and live and die as a human being.  Wade Preston is it’s author.  Wade is an old soul who loves the world of ideas.  He likes to read books by dead guys.  After years of living in suburbia, he opted for the monastic life for a while, residing at 8,500 ft somewhere in the Sawatch Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. From there he accepted a call to serve at a church on an island off the coast of Florida.  In his spare time, Wade enjoys American Folkstyle Wrestling; Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu; snowboarding; learning the name and location of all of Colorado’s 14,000 ft peaks; analyzing Auburn football recruiting strategies; watching Arrested Development with a woman who is way out of his league; and of course, writing.
